VagonApp is an app that was made as a university assignment by me and Petr Šopf, which was all about trying new technologies. It is written in Kotlin and it uses third-party libraries and tools like ML kit for text recognition in photographs.
I came up with the idea to use the ML kit library and text recognition in images of trains when thinking about some interesting and novel use of all the technologies that were required by the assignment. The app is not very useful for the general public and anyone outside central Europe, but working on it was a great experience and gave me a lot.
